YU, Yin-Bong Founder (Retired)
Mr. Yin-Bong YU is a founder of the firm. He had been worked as patent examiner for twenty years in Korean Intellectual Property Office. Mr. YU majored fiber engineering at Korea National University. In 1986, he was transferred to Korea Intellectual Property Tribunal, where he addressed patent invalidation, patent coverage and built up his experiences in intellectual property rights as patent judge. In 1991 he was appointed the chief examiner of KIPO, where examined patents relevant to organic compounds, high-molecular compounds, medicines, biotechnology and chemical processes. In 1992, he started to work as president at Korea Pertochemical Industry Association which is a non-profit organization. In 1999, he founded the firm and worked as patent attorney. He always counseled his clients’ intellectual property matters as founding partner.
